We’re hiring a Maintenance Technician I to handle day-to-day upkeep and minor repairs across commercial properties (office, retail, industrial). This is a great entry‑level role for someone with hands‑on experience who wants to grow in facilities or building maintenance.
What You’ll Do:- Respond to tenant maintenance requests
- Complete routine and preventive maintenance tasks
- Perform basic repairs (lighting, plumbing, paint, fixtures)
- Troubleshoot minor issues with building systems
- Support inspections and resolve small deficiencies
- Maintain clean and organized equipment/storage areas
- Assist with inventory tracking and supply ordering
- Participate in on‑call coverage for after‑hours issues
- Changing bulbs, switches, outlets
- Paint touch‑ups and general upkeep
- Thermostat adjustments
- Light custodial or cleanup tasks as needed
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic maintenance or construction experience
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Experience in commercial property maintenance
- Exposure to mechanical or electrical systems
Physical Requirements:
- Active role: standing, walking, climbing ladders, lifting (up to 50–100 lbs occasionally)
- Exposure to dust, temperature changes, and maintenance environments
- Safety gear required (provided where applicable)
