Position OverviewAre you ready to kickstart your career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? As a Fleet Wash Technician, you will be at the forefront of maintaining our fleet of ready mix concrete trucks and tractor trailers. Your role will involve washing, chipping, and cleaning these vital pieces of equipment, ensuring they not only look great but operate at peak performance. Key Responsibilities- Vehicle Cleaning:
Execute high-quality exterior washing of our concrete fleet, including mixers and support vehicles, using pressure washing equipment and professional-grade detergents. - Fleet Presentation:
Ensure all vehicles meet company aesthetic standards to uphold our reputation as an industry leader. - Chipping and Cleaning:
Utilize the right tools to remove hardened concrete, keeping our fleet in top shape and ready for action. - Environmental Stewardship:
Strictly adhere to all site-specific protocols regarding water runoff, chemical containment, and environmental compliance. - Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on wash bay equipment and report any malfunctions to the Fleet Maintenance Manager. - Safety Compliance:
Operate all machinery in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards; maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace. - Administrative Support:
Coordinate with the maintenance team to document vehicle wash cycles and report any visible body damage or maintenance needs identified during the cleaning process.
- Experience:
Previous experience in pressure washing, automotive detailing, or heavy equipment cleaning is preferred. - Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. - Technical
Skills:
Willingness to learn and utilize our fleet management systems (such as Tenna) to track service logs. - Professionalism:
Strong attention to detail, a reliable work ethic, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening (Drug-Free Workplace).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Availability for occasional overtime during peak construction seasons.
- Evenings and Weekends Required
