Bldg​/Grnds Spec II - FMS- FMO

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties for the SC Army National Guard Maintenance Shop, including cleaning and maintaining latrines, showers, locker rooms and common areas.
• Clean and maintain grounds around the Maintenance Shop, removing litter and debris.
• Sweep, mop, and clean sinks, mirrors, toilets, urinals, floors, showers, windows, walls, and ceilings.
• Maintain floor finishes in designated common areas.
• Clean hard‑surface floors and vacuum carpeted areas.
• Restock and replenish cleaning supplies such as hand soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue.
• Empty trash cans in latrines, shower areas, locker rooms, and common areas on a routine basis.
• Perform maintenance duties safely and with minimal supervision.

• Experience in custodial, housekeeping, or pest control work directly related to the area of employment.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid South Carolina driver’s license required.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and scaffolding, lift up to 40 lbs, and work in confined spaces.
