Pay Rate: $18.00/hour (Bi-Weekly Pay)

Assignment Dates: June 2026 – January 2027

Job Type: 9-Month Contract, Temp-to-Perm (opportunity to extend or convert to permanent employment based on business needs)

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Work Setting: Onsite

Position Summary

The Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing a variety of facility maintenance duties, including painting, cleaning, pressure washing, lawn care, and general light maintenance. This role helps maintain the cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality of the facility while following established safety procedures and quality standards. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently and as part of a team in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Key Responsibilities Painting
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and priming as needed.
  • Apply paint to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
  • Follow proper painting techniques and safety procedures to ensure a durable, professional finish.
  • Maintain clean work areas and ensure painted surfaces are free of debris, spills, and imperfections.
Cleaning
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing.
  • Clean restrooms, common areas, and work spaces as needed.
  • Remove trash and recycling materials and dispose of them properly.
  • Maintain and replenish cleaning supplies and equipment.
Pressure Washing
  • Operate pressure washing equipment to clean sidewalks, driveways, building exteriors, and other outdoor surfaces.
  • Prepare surfaces appropriately before pressure washing to prevent damage.
  • Conduct equipment inspections and safety checks prior to use.
  • Utilize appropriate cleaning solutions and techniques to remove dirt, mold, stains, and grime.
General Maintenance Support
  • Assist with minor repairs and general maintenance tasks.
  • Report safety concerns, maintenance issues, and equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete assigned projects and daily responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform lawn care duties.
  • Experience with pressure washing.
  • Experience with general light maintenance tasks.
  • Painting experience and related skills.
  • Ability to operate basic hand tools, cleaning equipment, and pressure washers.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures and guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in painting, cleaning, or pressure washing.
  • Experience working in an industrial or commercial facility environment.
Required Skills & Abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and report maintenance concerns and safety hazards.
  • Commitment to following safety procedures and wearing required PPE.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb ladders, and perform manual labor for extended periods.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to work around paint fumes, cleaning chemicals, dust, and noise.
