We are seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Planner to support plant reliability and minimize downtime through effective planning, coordination, and resource management. This role is responsible for developing high-quality work orders, ensuring materials and services are secured, and supporting safe, efficient maintenance execution.

- Develop detailed work orders including labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, and safety requirements.
- Conduct field validations to confirm job scope, access, safety risks, and feasibility (approx. 30% field / 70% planning).
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Operations, Purchasing, and Stores to ensure resources are available.
- Create material reservations and purchase requisitions, track orders to completion.
- Support weekly and outage scheduling processes.
- Maintain and improve asset data, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and equipment records within Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) SAP preferred.
- Monitor backlog and ensure work orders are ready prior to scheduling.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support maintenance budgeting (OpEx/Cap Ex forecasting and tracking).
- Ensure all planned work meets safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or minimum 4 years of relevant maintenance planning experience.
- Experience in cement manufacturing or heavy industrial environments preferred.
- Working knowledge of maintenance planning principles and work order lifecycle management.
- Experience with CMMS systems (Q-Maintenance preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and planning discipline.
- Ability to coordinate across departments.
- Proactive, safety-focused mindset.
- Team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
