Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Type: Hybrid (Hourly + Performance-Based Profit Sharing)

We're hiring an experienced A Level or High-Level B Automotive Technician for a family-owned independent repair shop in Pelion, SC
. We're looking for a technician who can confidently handle major repairs, diagnostics, and complex vehicle issues across a variety of makes and models. Whether you're a seasoned diagnostic technician or a strong B Tech looking to continue growing your diagnostic abilities, this shop offers a supportive team environment, ongoing training, and a compensation plan that rewards performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on domestic, Asian, and select European vehicles.
  • Diagnose and repair engine systems, transmission systems, electrical systems, steering systems, suspension systems, and braking systems.
  • Complete engine and transmission R&R (remove and replace) operations efficiently and accurately.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and automotive wiring diagrams to identify vehicle concerns.
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting, drivability diagnostics, and vehicle inspections.
  • Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) and accurately document findings and repair recommendations.
  • Collaborate with service advisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of automotive technician experience required; 10+ years preferred for A-Level candidates.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to complete major repairs independently.
  • Experience with engine and transmission replacement and repair.
  • Diagnostic experience preferred; strong B-Level technicians with basic diagnostic skills and a desire to grow are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience servicing all makes and models preferred.
  • ASE Certifications preferred; reimbursement available upon successful completion.
  • Familiarity with digital inspection processes and modern diagnostic equipment.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Stable work history demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
