Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Building Maintenance
Location: Columbia
Supervise and assists in the cleaning of 31 facilities to include 64,791 square feet of carpet, and 7,610 square feet of ceramic tile.
Responsible for cleaning of 57 latrines, 46 urinals, 105 lavatories, 31 showers and 556 storefront windows.
Monitors the refuse collection to ensure that containers are emptied on a scheduled basis. Monitors recycling program for the Civil Engineering Facility.
A high school diploma and custodial or groundskeeping experience directly related to the area of employment.
Individual must have and maintain a valid South Carolina Driver’s license. Must be able to lift 35 pounds unassisted.
