On-Call Seasonal Worker

Colleton County Government is accepting applications from individuals interested in being considered for an opportunity as a part‑time, temporary On‑Call Seasonal Worker. The successful candidate’s duties will include assisting in the concession stand during sporting events, cutting grass in county parks or assisting with the management of special events. Additional responsibilities will include cleaning the recreation center gymnasium, restrooms and meeting rooms as well as assist with room set‑up for special activities.

May also be required to work with traditional maintenance tools and equipment.

Requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, strong customer service skills and the ability to work well with others. Work schedule will vary, may sometimes be called upon often, while at other times may not be called upon at all. A pre‑employment drug screen and a satisfactory background check are also required.
