Transformer Shop Supervisor - Pelzer, SC

Storm Search is conducting a DIRECT HIRE search for a Shop Supervisor in Pelzer, SC.

• Salary based on experience ($30-50/hour)
• Full-time, first-shift position (8am-4:30pm)
• Lead a skilled electrical team while staying hands-on with specialized power distribution equipment
• Join an established organization providing electrical power solutions across multiple industries

• Work hands-on with equipment including automatic and manual transfer switches, distribution panels, transformers, load banks, circuit breakers, motor starters, cable assemblies, and other temporary power equipment
• Lead and coordinate daily activities for the Rental Operations team, including assigning work based on customer schedules and equipment needs
• Supervise, train, coach, and develop employees while monitoring performance, attendance, scheduling, and timekeeping
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and prepare rental and sales electrical equipment for customer deployment
• Oversee preventative maintenance and fleet readiness to ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and customer-ready
• Coordinate equipment movement between the shop, warehouse, yard, and customer deliveries
• Manage shop inventory, tools, supplies, and equipment while supporting facility maintenance and special projects
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Fleet, Safety, HR, and other departments to meet customer requirements
• Support emergency and after-hours customer needs by coordinating staffing and equipment availability
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, equipment reliability, productivity, and customer satisfaction
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures, including LOTO and required PPE
• Safely operate or oversee the use of forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment as required

• 3+ years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician or equivalent electrical experience
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or foreman experience in an industrial, electrical, manufacturing, or rental environment
• Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems, including low- and medium-voltage equipment
• Experience with electrical testing equipment such as Megger, Hi-Pot, Power Factor, TTR, or Resistance Bridge is preferred
