Job SummaryWheat crest Hills Healthcare Center is seeking a Housekeeper / Janitor / Laundry Aide to join our exciting and fast paced team! Our housekeepers provide daily housekeeping services to maintain the Center's safety, sanitation, and attractive condition.
Essential Functions- Follows and completes cleaning schedules
- Observes proper infection control standards
- Follows written policies and procedures of the Laundry Department
- Linen sorting, washing, folding
- Presses or hand irons articles as required
- Inspects linen for wear and tear
- Care and use of equipment and supplies, and cleanliness of work area
- Operates washers and dryers
- Cleans dryer lint traps
- Performs janitorial tasks to maintain cleanliness and orderliness
- Maintains equipment used in performing duties
- Acts as a Mandatory Reporter
- Ability to take initiative and show good judgment
- Demonstrates organizational skills
- Work independently and as a team member
- Displays a positive attitude, and dependability
- Willingness and ability to learn quickly
