We are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterology physician to provide locum tenens coverage at our practice near South Holland, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity to focus on outpatient procedures while collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

As a Gastroenterology physician, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating digestive disorders. Your expertise in performing endoscopic procedures will be essential in providing comprehensive care to our patients.

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Perform a wide range of endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies, sigmoidoscopies, and esophageal manometries.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and provide clear and concise explanations to patients.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.

• Outpatient-focused practice with a steady stream of referrals.
• Convenient Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend or on-call requirements.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic health record system for efficient documentation.
• Supportive administrative and clinical staff to assist with patient care.
• Located within a Level I trauma center for added patient access.

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
• Active or ability to obtain Illinois medical license.
• Proven expertise in performing endoscopic procedures.
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
