• Master's Degree in Physical Therapy required from an accredited program.
• Must hold an active Illinois physical therapy license and meet school-based certification requirements.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting.

Summary of Client's Description of This Opportunity:

• Evaluate students' gross motor function, mobility, and physical access needs to determine eligibility for school-based PT services.
• Create and carry out individualized interventions that support educational goals (often documented in IEPs/504 plans).
• Work with teachers, special educators, parents, and other specialists to integrate therapy into the school environment.
• Keep accurate records of services, student progress, and required district/state reporting.
• Suggest adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and strategies that help students safely access school activities.
