Bilingual / ESL Teacher - Elementary through High School in Special Education Cooperative Qualifications Applicants must hold appropriate State of Illinois (PEL) Professional Educator License with Bilingual Education Endorsement or (ELS) Educator License with Stipulations;
Spanish preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish & English preferred. Applicant will collaborate with special education teachers and related service providers to implement instructional practices to meet IEP requirements for EL / ESL services.
• Prior training in ESL methods/techniques
• Previous teaching experience with bilingual/ESL students
• Ability to organize and structure classes to maximize student learning
• Inclination to be a part of staff development and program improvement activities, both self-initiated and building designed
• Ability to work closely with parents, teachers, and supervisors to establish effective communication Competitive Salary and benefits;
