About the OpportunityAnthro Med Education is partnering with a school in South Holland, IL to welcome a full-time Self-Contained Classroom Teacher. This role supports 2nd and 3rd grade students in a self-contained classroom and offers the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative school team.
What You’ll Do- Provide instruction and support to 2nd and 3rd grade students in a self-contained classroom
- Develop and implement individualized instructional strategies based on student needs
- Collaborate with school staff and related service providers to support student success
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Create a structured, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
- 2nd and 3rd grade students
- Self-contained classroom setting
- Full-time, onsite position
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:15 PM
- Wednesdays until 4:15 PM
- Appropriate Illinois teaching certification/licensure for the position
- Experience working with students in a self-contained or special education setting preferred
- Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
