Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to support business growth by securing new projects and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, architects, and engineers. The ideal candidate will lead the entire bidding process, from identifying opportunities and preparing accurate estimates to tracking bids and securing project awards.
Key Responsibilities
Preconstruction & Business Development
Identify and pursue new project opportunities through bidding platforms and industry networks.
Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, architects, engineers, and key stakeholders.
Continuously monitor market opportunities to support business development efforts.
Estimating & Bid Management
Lead the identification, tracking, and management of bidding opportunities.
Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine project scope and requirements.
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.
Prepare accurate, competitive, and comprehensive project estimates and proposals.
Submit bids and follow up with clients regarding project status and award decisions.
Analyze bid outcomes and adjust estimating strategies to improve competitiveness.
Monitor market trends, industry practices, and competitor pricing.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Minimum 7-10 years of estimating experience in construction, manufacturing, or a related industry.
Proven success estimating projects in commercial, industrial, or multi-family construction environments.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
Technical Skills
Proficiency with estimating and takeoff software such as Bluebeam and On-Screen Takeoff.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, manufacturing processes, and construction methods.
Experience with data center projects is highly desirable.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Strong relationship-building and client management abilities.
Proven negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
