Under the direction of Plant Manager, the Shipping Coordinator is responsible for efficiently managing the dispatching process and maintaining seamless communication with Truck Drivers, encompassing South Holland's drivers and third-party common carriers.
Your efforts are essential in ensuring we meet our customers' precise pickup and delivery requirements, contributing to our overall customer satisfaction and service excellence.
Communication and Dispatching Telephone Management Pickup Management Driver Dispatching Shipping Management Shipping Oversight: understanding of shipping processes will ensure compliance with regulations and company policies. Documentation Preparation:
Packing Slips, Bills of Lading (B/L), and tags. Tracking Shipments:
Utilize tracking systems to monitor the status of shipments proactively. Claims Management Order Management New Orders Processing Customer and Material Number Creation Purchase Order Tracking Administrative Tasks File Management:
Set up and maintain new files for invoices Manage the procurement and inventory of office supplies Credit and Tax Management:
As needed, assist in conducting credit checks Customer Service Commitment Technology Proficiency in using ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent is strongly preferred Knowledge,
