Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
  • Serve meals, assist with feeding, and provide water and nourishment between meals.
  • Support residents with mobility, including ambulating, turning, and positioning.
  • Monitor and document vital signs, weight, intake, and output.
  • Ensure resident comfort and respond promptly to call lights and requests.
  • Report changes in resident condition to the nursing supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident observations.
  • Uphold resident privacy and dignity in accordance with HIPAA and facility standards.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and facility regulations and guidelines.
  • Stay current through educational opportunities and maintaining CNA certification.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification in accordance with state law.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Long‑term care experience preferred.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and assist residents with physical mobility needs.
