Security Operations Coordinator

Responsibilities- Possess strong customer service and public‑relations skills and be able to interact well with people of diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Provide administrative support functions for the Operations team.
- Takes direction from Operations managers and determines necessary service requirements to fulfill contractual responsibilities with our client base.
- Coordinate services and operational and administrative support needs.
- Utilize scheduling software to track employee work schedules and fill open positions due to call‑offs or additional coverage requests.
- Troubleshoot emerging client service issues.
- Collaborate with personnel and Operations managers to ensure deadlines are completed on time and within the scope of work.
- Work consistently with management to ensure clients receive the best possible service.
- Use Windows‑based programs and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Multi‑task during the work shift.
- Work weekends, holidays, and cover additional shifts as required by company needs.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Provide leadership and direction to the Site/Account assigned Officers and assist with areas of responsibility as needed.
- Provide Site support for all areas of the sites and inspect assigned personnel.
- Effectively manage, motivate, coach, and formally evaluate the performance of all assigned staff and officers.
- Assist with the development and implementation of measurement and evaluation tools for efficiency, accuracy, timeliness, and cost/benefit of each area of responsibility.
- Make recommendations for creation, modification, and updating of policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines related to your assigned Site/Account.
- Assist with the development and implementation of controls for accurate and timely patrol and alarm response activities.
- Respond to incidents at the site proactively and to requests for assistance from any Security Manager, Supervisor, Assigned Agent/Officer, or client. Coordinate the proper response and internal notifications as appropriate.
- Continuously review all aspects of the Site/Account for potential improvement and profitability.
- Communicate effectively within all levels of the organization and client operations.
- Resolve potential issues, concerns, or threats at the assigned site/account with office management.
- Present ideas in a clear, compelling, and detail‑oriented manner.
- Demonstrate emotional intelligence, excellent people skills, and the ability to develop and manage successful business relationships with clients and prospective clients.
- Maintain a strong personal presence, credibility, and high integrity.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Prior supervisory experience in the security industry or a related field (1–2 years of verifiable Security Supervisor/Management experience).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to make quick decisions in all situations.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Ability to write and train officers on procedures as required for each location (site specific).
- Computer savvy and capable of multitasking.
- Ability to communicate clearly.
- Ready to travel to locations for inspections (weekdays and weekends).
- Train security officers on operational and corporate policies and procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of all contracted site locations.
- Respond to calls for assistance, accident or incident reports, and after‑hour emergencies.
- Ensure company equipment and vehicles are current on maintenance.
- Assist with scheduling, fill open posts, and call‑offs, minimizing overtime.
- Review daily logs and incident reports; report unusual occurrences, disciplinary issues, call‑offs, or missing documentation to management.
- Follow up as directed by Security Management.
- Use emerging technology and remain flexible with development.
- Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
