$18.50 to $25.50 per hour. $1000.00 Supervisor Sign On Bonus.
Responsibilities- Oversee staffing, scheduling and on‑site training for security officers assigned to your shift.
- Perform other operations and related functions (e.g., payroll, review and maintain incident reports, assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders).
- Provide direction and instruction to security officers regarding the performance of their duties.
- Maintain overtime to minimum or to a predefined level designated by Federal Protection Agency, Inc.
- Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under your direct supervision.
- Ensure that contract‑required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met.
- Cross‑train officers to make them more versatile and run the site efficiently.
- Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to client site‑specific Post Orders.
- Supervise and coordinate security staff activities.
- Implement security protocols and procedures.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies as needed.
- Train security personnel on security protocols and best practices.
- De‑escalate conflicts and handle difficult situations calmly.
- Make productivity and cost‑reduction recommendations to management.
- Recommend physical security surveys and post orders.
- Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance when assigned to your shift.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current and valid driver’s license.
- Active PERC Card.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable and successful Security Supervisor experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain poise and self‑control during emergency situations.
