Full-Time FMLA through November 5, 2026 (with the potential for a brief overlap during the transition back)
Schedule:
Onsite | Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–4:00 PM | 35 hours/week minimum
Salary Range: $65,000–$75,000 annually
Anthro Med Education is partnering with a welcoming elementary school in the St. Charles area to hire a School Social Worker for a full-time FMLA assignment. In this role, you'll support K–5 students through evaluations, consultation, and direct social work services while collaborating closely with teachers, administrators, and related service providers. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school community and connect with a large network of fellow School Social Workers across the district.
WhatYou'll Do
- Provide direct social work services and counseling as outlined in students' IEPs
- Conduct social-emotional evaluations and contribute to eligibility and IEP meetings
- Consult with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop effective student supports
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and district requirements
- Kindergarten–5th grade students
- General education and special education populations
- No specialized or self-contained programs
- Caseload details will be shared during the interview
- District utilizes a workload model that provides additional staffing support for higher-needs caseloads
- Master's degree in Social Work
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Active Illinois Social Work License
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
