POSITION TITLE: CDL Class A Delivery Driver

PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to ensure timely delivery of food service goods to predetermined customers on specific routes in the Midwest states.

DEPARTMENT: Fleet

REPORTS TO: Fleet Manager

PAY RATE
: $28.00-$32.00 hourly

HOURS/

SCHEDULE:

Full-Time, Monday-Friday Start 3:00am-5:00am Saturday-Sunday Start 3:00am-7:00am

DRESS CODE: Steel toe boots, Martin Produce Uniform

• Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods
• Pack and load products onto trucks according to company’s specifications
• Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes and on-time schedule
• Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher and/or sales reps
• Unload goods as per company’s specifications
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs and adjust receipts as needed.
• Collect and record payments
• Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Complete inspections, logs and reports on time.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

• High School Diploma
• Commercial Driving License

• Have minimum 6 months commercial vehicle driving experience
• Basic math skills
• Work in fast paced environment
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Exceptional customer skills
• Clean driving record

• Ability to lift more than 80 lbs.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time as well as crouch, step, and kneel
• Work in extreme temperature
• Availability to travel out state
• Available to work 40-55 hours per week
• Available on-call, and on weekends
• Ability to stay overnight
