FLSA Exemption: Hourly, non-exempt

Reports to: Maintenance Manager

Shift: Saturdays & Sundays 9:00am - 5:00pm

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00/hour depending upon experience

Job Description

The Weekend Groundskeeper helps ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of Larry H. Miller Downtown Daybreak company-owned buildings, equipment, and facilities.

Primary Duties

• Trash pickup
• Power washing
• Assist with landscaping and weeding
• Moving items around property
• Replacing light bulbs
• Locking/unlocking doors
• Using blower
• Monitor and clean parking lots
• Sweeping
• Light maintenance
• Vendor coordination
• Help ensure the property remains clean, safe, and welcoming for tenants and guests
• All other tasks as assigned

Experience & Skills

• Reliable and punctual
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Previous groundskeeping, janitorial, landscaping, or maintenance experience preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

• Work performed primarily in an outdoor setting
• Exposure to custodial environments such as noise, dust, odors and fumes, chemicals, and adhesives
• Required to lift up to a minimum of 50
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, walk and move about facilities
• Perform other duties as required
