The General Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the Club’s facilities and equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Under general supervision, the Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and basic repairs.
- Timely completion of routine repairs, maintenance requests, and work orders.
- Must be able to perform basic maintenance duties.
- Perform general repairs that do not require a specialized technician: replace light bulbs, etc.
- Assists with de‑winterizing and winterizing the Clubhouse, Cabana, tennis courts, and other club facilities.
- Hands‑on capabilities for repairs.
- Comfortable using hand tools.
- Possess a can‑do attitude and tackles everything with a smile.
- Efficiently completes assigned duties.
- Excellent problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills. Ability to think on your feet.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Self‑motivated and accountable for one’s actions.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Conversational English is required.
- Frequently lifts, carries, pulls, and pushes up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, and pulling.
- Frequent repetitive motions.
- Must be able to stand or sit for long periods and move freely about the Club property.
- Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors with exposure to a variety of environmental conditions.
- This is a full‑year, full‑time position.
- 1st Shift – 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, 2nd Shift – 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm
- Should have consistent availability from week to week.
- Should be open to a flexible schedule based on business needs, including mornings, evenings, overnights, and weekends.
- Occasional overtime may be required to meet increased needs. Required overtime could extend the workday to 10+ hours.
- Pay range $19‑$24/hr depending on qualifications
