Maintenance Technician III

G&W Electric Co. seeks a Maintenance Technician III to support our manufacturing operations on the 2:00 pm-10:30 pm shift. In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and safety. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, reading schematics, and documenting work in maintenance systems. You'll collaborate closely with production and engineering teams in a quality-focused, collaborative environment and contribute to continuous improvement and reliable power solutions for global customers.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing and production equipment to minimize downtime
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems
• Diagnose issues using technical schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment problems
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS or work order systems
• Follow and promote all safety, lockout/tagout, and OSHA requirements
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives for plant equipment
• Assist with equipment installations, adjustments, and upgrades as needed
