Yard​/Warehouse Technician - South Plainfield, NJ

REIC Rentals is hiring a Yard/Warehouse Technician in South Plainfield, NJ. We are looking for someone hardworking, detail oriented, and is passionate about safety, quality and customer service.

As a Yard/Warehouse Technician, your responsibilities will include meticulously washing and detailing rental equipment before delivery, inspecting small equipment for quality, pick, pack, and stage materials for service technicians and installation crews, keeping inventory, managing the hookup and receiving of trailers or smaller rented items, and enhancing the overall visual appeal of the yard/warehouse.

• Prepping the yard for opening and closing of business
• Loading and unloading equipment and communicating rental details with the Rental Coordinator
• Washing and making any necessary repairs to returned equipment to ensure it is rent‑ready
• Assisting with the appearance, organization, and arrangement of equipment in the yard

This is a full‑time position
. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
, with Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM as needed.

• A valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass forklift, AWP, and propane training tests
• A strong focus on safety

• Ability to take instruction and understand goals and processes
• Ability to work fluctuating schedules, including some Saturdays
• Ability to complete other duties as assigned
• Ability to comprehend job‑related duties in both verbal and written formats
• Comfortable working with limited supervision at times

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and reach throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds multiple times per shift

• Standing: 50%
• Walking: 45%
• Sitting: 5%
