We are looking for an Assistant Banquet Manager who will plan, organize, control and direct the work of employees in the Banquet Department while ensuring guest satisfaction. This person will have strong leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills, is able to prioritize and adapt to the changing needs of the operation, and can evidence having a solid work ethic, good business acumen and a passion for service.

Prior experience in a mixed-use residential hotel is preferred.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees, and supervisors in the Hotel’s Banquet Department to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met; daily activities and planning for outlet operation.
• The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.
