Seabury at Pomperaug Woods is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping department while actively participating in the work alongside staff. This hands‑on leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, coaching team members, and ensuring every resident experiences the comfort of a well‑maintained home.

As a Working Housekeeping Supervisor, you'll balance supervisory responsibilities with daily housekeeping duties.

• Supervise, train, coach, and support housekeeping staff
• Perform cleaning duties in resident apartments, common areas, and healthcare spaces as needed
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met
• Coordinate daily assignments, apartment cleanings, and special projects
• Manage housekeeping supply inventory and ordering
• Promote infection control and safety standards throughout the community
• Respond to resident requests with professionalism and hospitality
• Foster a positive, productive, and resident-focused team culture
• Partner with leadership to ensure department goals and service standards are achieved

• Previous housekeeping experience required
• Prior supervisory experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or hotel environments preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, sanitation practices, and infection control standards
• A positive attitude and commitment to exceptional customer service
• Must be efficient in Microsoft Office.

• Monday-Friday schedule (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
