* The primary function of the Environmental Service Technician is to maintain the building, grounds, facility and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
*
* Key Responsibilities:
*
* + Follow maintenance schedules and safety precautions
+ Perform repairs (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, flooring)
+ Install shelving, fixtures, and perform painting
+ Floor care and preventive maintenance
+ Operate generators and maintain grounds (snow removal, debris cleanup)
+ Transport residents as needed
+ Attend training and report exposures

* Qualifications:
*
* + High school diploma (trade school preferred)
+ 2+ years healthcare mechanic experience
+ Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems
+ Ability to read blueprints and follow safety codes
+ Strong customer service and communication skills

* Physical Requirements:
*
* + Frequent lifting (25 lbs), bending, kneeling
+ Exposure to noise, infectious waste, hazardous chemicals
+ Ability to cope with stress and work flexible hours
