The primary function of the Environmental Service Technician is to maintain the building, grounds, facility and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

* Follow maintenance schedules and safety precautions

* Perform repairs (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, flooring)

* Install shelving, fixtures, and perform painting

* Floor care and preventive maintenance

* Operate generators and maintain grounds (snow removal, debris cleanup)

* Transport residents as needed

* Attend training and report exposures

Qualifications:

* High school diploma (trade school preferred)

* 2+ years healthcare mechanic experience

* Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems

* Ability to read blueprints and follow safety codes

* Strong customer service and communication skills

Physical Requirements:

* Frequent lifting (25 lbs), bending, kneeling

* Exposure to noise, infectious waste, hazardous chemicals

* Ability to cope with stress and work flexible hours
