The Floor Tech works with the housekeeping and laundry team to provide a clean environment for all customers residing in and visiting our facility.
Responsibilities- Taking out the trash
- Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing various floor surfaces
- Stripping and waxing qualifying floor surfaces.
- Cross training in Housekeeping and Laundry should the need to float arise.
- Assist with room moves of residents.
- Assist with discharge cleaning of residents’ rooms, which would include boxing of items and moving furniture.
- Other duties as assigned by the Environmental Services Director
- Minimal maintenance responsibilities as needed.
- 1 year of experience (preferred)
- Customer service oriented, ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, critical thinking skills, flexibility, and dependability.
