As we continue to grow across Metro Detroit, we're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to help maintain, standardize, and improve our clinic environments.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems, and taking ownership of facility maintenance across multiple locations. You'll play a critical role in ensuring our clinics remain safe, functional, and welcoming for patients and staff alike.

What You'll DoFacility Maintenance & Preventative Care
  • Travel between clinic locations, prioritizing high-volume sites and urgent maintenance needs.
  • Conduct inspections of mechanical rooms, HVAC systems, emergency shut-offs, and other building systems.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance schedules for HVAC filters, emergency lighting, and critical facility equipment.
  • Ensure facilities remain safe, clean, compliant, and operational.
Hands-On Repairs & Maintenance
  • Complete routine maintenance work orders independently whenever possible.
  • Perform basic electrical work, including replacing bulbs, fixtures, switches, and transitioning lighting to LED.
  • Complete minor plumbing, painting, patching, flooring repairs, and general building maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot facility issues and identify practical solutions.
  • Assist with small renovation and improvement projects across clinic locations.
Inventory & Operational Support
  • Maintain inventory of commonly used maintenance supplies and materials.
  • Assist with ordering and tracking maintenance-related inventory.
  • Document completed work and support standardization efforts across all facilities.
  • Track vendor-related costs and identify opportunities to complete work internally when appropriate.
Systems & Process Improvement
  • Utilize maintenance ticketing systems and internal software to manage work requests.
  • Perform facility walkthroughs and document findings, recommendations, and improvement opportunities.
  • Accurately track time spent on projects and clinic visits.
  • Assist in developing more efficient maintenance processes and preventative maintenance programs.
Growth & Expansion Support
  • Participate in walkthroughs of potential new clinic sites.
  • Identify maintenance concerns, facility risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support clinic openings, relocations, renovations, and expansion projects as needed.
Communication & Collaboration
  • Maintain strong communication with leadership, clinic managers, and operational teams.
  • Provide updates regarding facility conditions, project progress, and maintenance priorities.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors when specialized services are required.
What You Bring

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance, building maintenance, property maintenance, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
  • Ability to diagnose problems and complete minor repairs independently.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel regularly between Metro Detroit clinic locations.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Comfortable using maintenance tracking systems, mobile applications, and basic computer programs.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in healthcare, medical office, or multi-site environments.
  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and facility safety standards.
  • Experience supporting clinic, office, or commercial facility operations.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and lift equipment.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
