HousekeeperThe Housekeeper is responsible for daily cleaning of the apartment community’s public facilities, common areas, and grounds. The role also includes the cleaning make‑ready process in accordance with the property’s operational objectives under the supervision of the Community Manager prior to move‑in.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Community housekeeping and regular/daily onsite attendance.
- General cleaning and trash removal of grounds, residential areas, make‑ready units, and common areas.
- Cleaning and preparing vacant units for move‑in.
- Cleaning and upkeep of community offices, amenities, and other shared spaces.
- Respond to resident and management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
- Follow Asset key policy and report violations to the Community Manager.
- Utilize property resources, equipment, and supplies economically.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities requested by the Community Manager.
- Provide excellent customer service, monitor service request turnaround, and maintain a favorable community image.
- Ensure consistency in dealing with residents on all matters.
- Enforce community policies as delegated by the immediate supervisor.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred or one year’s experience in the housing industry.
- Basic computer skills and ability to perform on‑site software functions.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
- Regular use of ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and step stools, including repeated motions of the wrist, hand, and fingers.
- Ability to lift and place objects up to 25 lbs.; work overtime, weekends, and night hours as needed.
- Occasional work in overhead positions, operating machinery, power tools, motor vehicles, or golf carts.
- Work in varied temperatures, outdoor environments, and enclosed spaces as required.
$17 per hour to $19 per hour.
Compensation & BenefitsCompensation decisions consider skill set, background, training, certifications, and relevant experience. The offer includes a comprehensive total rewards package that may include medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, and disability insurance, a 401(k) with employer matching, and commission or performance bonuses when applicable. Full‑time employees receive paid sick days and company holidays.
