Maintenance Technician - Gel Pack Machine Day Shift

The Starting rate is $25 per hour.

Schedule: M - F 5am - 1:30pm, must be available for overtime.

The Maintenance Mechanic keeps our associates safe by maintaining all equipment inside the warehouses/buildings, ensuring it meets industry standards, and operates efficiently according to its specific tasks.

The Mechanic, Maintenance is responsible for repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facilities. Performs general electrical and/or repairs of various equipment on company premises. Conduct periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required. Maintains all equipment necessary to perform work.

• Obtains work schedule and daily production paperwork; prepares for operations and performs daily safety checks.
• Performs maintenance, repairs, and installations on various equipment within guidelines of processes and standards.
• Maintains, replaces, builds, adjusts, and modifies the facilities, buildings, and grounds according to a set schedule, and in emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keeps maintenance area orderly and clean; at the end of the shift secures all equipment and completes all necessary reports and paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months maintenance and repair experience in a related area.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic repair.
• Ability to maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory records.
• Good troubleshooting skills; identify and diagnose basic issues.
• Experience with component replacement (belts, bearings, chains, knives, sensors).
• Adherence to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Physical stamina: stand/walk for long periods, lift heavy items up to 50‑60 lbs.
• Comfortable working in noisy, hot, cold, wet, or dusty environments.
• Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.
