We are looking for a Janitor (Custodian) to take care of our building and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties. The goal is to keep the building in a clean and orderly condition. This position is ideal for an individual with a disability, who will be strongly considered.

Pay: $17.75 per hour

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 3:30 pm

Location:

Ft. McCoy, Sparta, WI

• Clean, sanitize, and restock bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, glass and mirrors, stall walls, and stainless steel areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors and stairs.
• Empty trash and recyclable cans, replace liners, and clean receptacles as necessary.
• Dust and clean office areas, desks, and furniture that are not cluttered.
• Clean windowsills and windows.
• Obtain necessary tools to complete the job.
• Clean break rooms and other applicable areas.
• Safely operate assigned equipment.
• Contribute to teamwork by training and helping co‑workers.
• Perform duties with a focus on safety, quality, and customer service.

• Lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
• Pushing and pulling up to 30 lbs.
• Be 18 years or older.
• Pass criminal background checks and various state/federal registry checks.
