Facilities Maintenance Technician

Lutheran Social Services of WI & UP MI seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep our healthcare and social service facilities safe, reliable, and welcoming. In this on-site role, you'll perform preventative and corrective maintenance on building systems, including basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and grounds. You'll troubleshoot issues, complete work orders, support inspections, and coordinate vendors to ensure compliance, safety, and comfort for clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems, equipment, and grounds across LSS facilities
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical issues or coordinate vendors as needed
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure safety, code compliance, and a comfortable environment for clients and staff
• Respond to work orders and urgent maintenance requests in a timely, customer-focused manner
• Maintain maintenance logs, inventory supplies, and support facility upgrades or small renovation projects
• Collaborate with program staff to minimize disruption to client services during maintenance activities
