** As part of Magna International, Magna Energy Storage Systems Group develops and manufactures innovative fuel tank systems and components for heavy-duty trucks and passenger cars, specializing in plug-in hybrids. * Job Responsibilities:

* · Repair robot welds as needed
· In Line Inspection
· Leak Testing
· Documentation Repair welds
· Fast Response in case of systematic welding defects
· Riveting· Backup for all Operators
· Assess welds to ensure cleanliness and within designated specifications of customer requirements.
· Conduct test to evaluate weld quality
· Collaborate with engineeringing to address issues

* JOB REQUIREMENTS:

*
* · Graduation from related trade school or high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least 1-3 years of related experience or combination of education and experience.
· 1-3 years of experience TIG welding.

Experience with aluminum strongly preferred.
· Knowledge and ability to assess metal structures to identify and initaiate repair of damaged welds.
· Ability to measure close tolerances (Metric & Imperial)
· Knowledge and ability to use small tools, operate air/hand toold, welders, grinder and buffing machines##
