Senior Building Maintenance Worker
Black Hills State University is seeking a full-time Senior Building Maintenance Worker in the Building & Grounds department. This position will be responsible for the renovation of existing campus structures, performing carpenter maintenance needs as they arise on campus, and assisting with groundskeeping.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- General carpentry skills
- Operates the necessary tools of the trade
- Ability to read and follow blueprints
- Schedules the installation of projects
- Computer skills including web browsing, Excel, MSWord
- Professional, clear, and concise communication
- Deal tactfully and work effectively with others
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds
- Climb ladders and stairs
- Work after hours or on call as needed

Advertised Salary - $18.45/hr
Duration of the Term - 12 months
Work Hours - 6:30am to 3:00pm M-F
