Salvage Department Technician

We have an excellent opportunity to join our growing Salvage team in a full time capacity! We are looking to fill a full time Salvage Department Technician. In this role, every day will be different and offer you the opportunity to do a wide range of different duties to help support internal inventory system and salvage team members.

The Salvage Department Technician will perform daily tasks related to identifying, inspecting, cleaning, and cataloging used truck parts, with responsibilities spanning hands-on parts preparation and data entry in our inventory system. The role may require outdoor work across all seasons.

• Identifying, inspecting, and cleaning used truck parts
• Painting parts and taking pictures of final product
• Entering parts into our internet-based inventory system
• Entering heavy-duty trucks and equipment into our inventory system
• Conducting inspections on used trucks and verifying purchase information
• Updating salvage specs and pictures in our inventory system

Prior experience working with heavy-duty trucks (Class 6
- 8) is preferred. Prior mechanical experience is not required for this role. The right applicant must be highly organized, comfortable working with technology, and be able to work and communicate effectively with other team members.

Day shift hours, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. This position offers a consistent schedule and regular overtime. No evenings, weekends, or holidays required.

This position pays an hourly base compensation plus overtime. Hourly rate is dependent upon experience and typically ranges from $17.00 up to $23.00 per hour for qualified candidates.
