Parts Counter Assistant

Parts Counter Assistant $18.75/hr

Monday-Friday 7am-5pm available.

Aventure Staffing is seeking a Parts Counter Assistant to work for a well established salvage yard in Spencer, IA! Training is provided on site, no experience necessary!

• Locate and acquire parts, materials, and supplies needed for equipment repair
• Read and understand parts catalog when looking up part
• Answer phone calls, obtain price quotes and other information
• Maintain parts and supply inventory using physical and electronic records and files
• Pick up parts order or arrange for delivery
• Receive deliveries, verify accuracy of shipments and inspect for damage and defects
• Maintain a positive working relationship with vendors and shop personnel
• Process and track work orders
• Other duties as assigned.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Including Outlook, Excel & Word)
• Strong attention to detail and capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, and percentages
• Strong communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Prior parts experience and/or mechanical background
• Ability to prioritize, multitask and set deadlines to meet goals.

• Starting Pay: $18.75/hr
• Paid Every Friday!
