Maintenance to join our Spokane,
WA team. Earn $20 - $24 per hour (DOE)!

JOB SUMMARY: The primary function of the Shop Maintenance Person is to keep the shop and surrounding area clean and free of any and all garbage and debris for safety and appearance reasons.

Shop Maintenance Duties and Responsibilities

Must keep all shop bays clean and neat, by sweeping and steam cleaning on a regular basis.

Roll up all air hoses and water hoses when not in use.

Empty all garbage cans on a regular basis.

Keep lunchroom, bathroom and wash area clean and neat.

Responsible to maintain and keep the "bone yard" in a neat, clean and organized manner, as well as the outside yard.

Must be able to perform light mechanical repairs and maintenance on shop equipment, change filters, light bulbs ect.

Will be required to help set up and clean up, tables, chairs, garbage and equipment used for all company functions

Must wear the approved shop uniform and boots.

May be required to work Saturdays and overtime.

Shop Maintenance Reporting Relationships: The Shop Maintenance Personnel reports directly to the Shop Manager.

Qualifications:

Must Have a High school diploma or GED. Have organization and communication skills. Have the ability to read and comprehend English instructions and information. Some knowledge of heavy trucks and the trucking industry desirable. Must have the ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis. Must process a valid drivers license with a clean MVR. Must have the ability to drive and run a forklift or be trained to do so.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position is physically demanding. Will lift various things the weigh up to 50lbs.

Will stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, handle and feel. Will be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes, and a variety of other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Must climb in and out of customer's vehicles and up and down ladders.
