• Oversee daily maintenance operations, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, security systems and fire safety systems.
• Manage department activities and perform maintenance and repair work as needed.
• Prioritize work orders and assign tasks to maintenance technicians.
• Supervise, train, and provide technical guidance to maintenance staff; assist in recruiting, developing, and retaining qualified employees.
• Conduct routine inspections and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability.
• Ensure timely maintenance and repairs of all facility systems and production machinery.
• Coordinate the procurement of estimates and bids from third-party vendors.
• Manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies; research and recommend new equipment for purchase.
• Coordinate with production to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Create, review, and implement maintenance policies and procedures; ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain maintenance records, track performance metrics, and manage maintenance budgets.
• Collaborate with internal and external team members on equipment installations, plant layout changes, and facility upgrades.
• Manage vendor relationships for outsourced services and participate in audits and inspections.
• Enforce organization and cleanliness in maintenance work areas.
• Attend and actively participate in manager, production, department, and other required meetings.
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues and system failures promptly.
• Must maintain regular and predictable attendance between the assigned start time and end times of work; must be able to work outside of normal hours when required.
• Perform all work in accordance with company policies, procedures, practices, core values, and standards of conduct.
• Follow safety procedures and practices to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing to communicate effectively, and discern warning or emergency alarms, including forklift horns.
• Sufficient vision to review and read documents, reports, and other job‑related information, and observe signage in the plant.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to perform repetitive motions in fingering and hand/wrist/arm movements. Including keyboarding.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs. Work is performed between floor and shoulder height.
• Ability to stand for 1 or more hours continuously, and up to 5 hours cumulatively, during shift duration.
• Ability to walk up to 2 hours cumulatively during shift.
