Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Location: 206-Avalon Care Center Northpointe, Spokane, WA

Pay: $17.70 /hr

Employment Type: Part-Time (Sunday - Wednesday: 12:30 pm - 7:00 pm)

• Clean rooms, offices, and common areas, including vacuuming, wiping, mopping, polishing, etc.
• Ensure residents’ rooms are safe, comfortable, and maintained in an attractive manner and protect residents’ personal items.
• Clean up spills, soiled areas, and other conditions as observed or directed.
• Ensure equipment and work areas are safe, following procedures for cleaners and hazardous materials.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are properly stored.
• Follow Universal precautions and infection control, isolation, fire, safety and sanitation practices and procedures, and promptly report any hazardous conditions and equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior housekeeping experience in a health care or hospitality setting preferred.
• Excellent customer service and hospitality skills.
• Trustworthiness and dependability.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively with little to no supervision.
• Effective communication skills.
• Organized with keen attention to detail.
