Housekeeper

The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in a dust-heavy area, including sweeping and shoveling feed. All training will be provided on the job, and proficiency is typically quickly attained. Candidates must be able to follow directions, perform repetitive tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced industrial setting.

• Steel toe shoes required
• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
• Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to walk, climb stairs frequently (up to 7 flights throughout shift)
• Must be comfortable working in a very dusty environment, sweeping and shoveling feed
• Candidate should have good knees and stamina for a physically demanding role

• Perform repetitive cleaning activities, including sweeping and shoveling feed
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility, including walking up and down multiple flights of stairs during the shift (elevator available for heavy items)
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies
• Accurately follow oral and written instructions, including short memos and safety correspondence
• Maintain good housekeeping standards in a dusty environment
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• May occasionally use company computer equipment and systems
• Must demonstrate reliability, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
• Ability to pass forklift training test (will not operate forklift)

• Ability to work on your feet for prolonged periods in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and counting skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
