• Operations Trailblazer: Lead the maintenance crew, assign projects, and keep daily operations running smoothly.
• Maintenance Marvel: Perform preventative maintenance, respond to guest requests promptly, manage work orders, and apply skills in carpentry, painting, plumbing, and related trades.
• Safety Superhero: Maintain a safe property, respond quickly to issues, and address hazards proactively.
• Team Cheerleader: Coordinate and motivate the engineering team, manage schedules, and foster high performance per shift.
• Guest Happiness Guru: Fix guest room issues promptly and interact positively to enhance guest stays.
• Property Adventurer: Conduct regular site checks—evaluate lighting, irrigation, and pool/spa health code compliance; improvements encouraged when needed.
• Admin Ace: Maintain accurate maintenance records and assist with coordination for meetings and events when required.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Licensed in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle driving record required (property specific).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised and handle financial information and basic arithmetic.

The brand-new Marriott City Place at Springwoods Village is located on the east end of City Place Park in Houston’s Springwoods Village district. We offer amenity-rich, modern accommodations in a walkable, connected neighborhood with 337 rooms across 10 stories, high-speed WiFi, 50-inch HDTVs, and a Switchouse Restaurant & Bar. The property features 33,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor event space, including a Grand and Junior Ballroom and three boardrooms.

Location is between I-45 and Spring Village Parkway, between Holzwarth Road and Mossy Oaks.
