Floor Technician

Job Overview

Floor Technician – full‑time, Arkansas Children’s Northwest, 2601 South 56th Street, Springdale, AR 72762. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule:

Full‑time 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, rotating weekends. Days may vary – further details upon interview. Fixed pay rate $15.50 per hour.

• Prior floor care and cleaning technology experience required.
• Experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 lbs.

• Maintain knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and apply procedures including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning and buffing.
• Operate industrial floor care equipment and automated cleaning equipment for large floor surfaces.
• Clean carpet and upholstery using proper procedures (shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming).
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
