Starting Rate: $24.3995/hour

- Clean surfaces, equipment and furniture.
- Mop and/or vacuum floors.
- Clean windows and restrooms, offices, conference rooms and common areas.
- Empty waste and recycling containers.
- Perform Watchman duties on Sundays and on a relief basis.
The ideal candidate possesses knowledge, skills, and mental development equivalent to a high school diploma, with prior janitorial experience preferred. They should be able to read and follow verbal and written instructions clearly, learn to safely operate scrubber and buffer machines, properly mix and dilute cleaning chemicals, and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and delivery personnel.
Preference for employment in all positions with the city shall be given to applicants who are full-time city residents.
