Purpose and

Summary:

Under the direction of the Operations & Construction Manager, the Millwright is responsible for repairs, maintenance and installation of grain equipment.

• Install, repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, welding equipment and other necessary machines.
• Maintain trucks, equipment and tools to ensure all are in good working order.
• Perform mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs as required.
• Climb and work from heights.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Adhere to safety rules and company policies and procedures, including EHS, OSHA and DOT guidelines.

High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems; ability to read layout plans, blueprints and electrical schematics.

Proficiency in welding and use of hand and power tools.

Familiarity with grain equipment such as grain legs, conveyors, towers, catwalks, grain bins, and grain dryers.

Valid driver’s license.
