Job Summary

Lincoln Land Community College is hiring a Building Custodian to maintain campus cleanliness and safety.

No

• Perform floor maintenance duties, including sweeping, shampooing, vacuuming, mopping, stripping, and waxing.
• Clean and dust equipment in classrooms.
• Clean laboratories and dispose of refuse per special instructions.
• Refill paper products and other materials in restrooms, locker rooms, and shower areas.
• Set up and transport special equipment such as chairs, tables, podiums, and drapes.
• Assist other departmental crews during special college functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Employment contingent upon completion of a criminal background check, drug screen, and physical and functional capacity exam.

• One year of building custodial experience.

• Push, pull, or carry large or bulky objects.
• Lift up to 100 lbs regularly.
• Stand for long periods.
• Walk up to 3 miles.
• Operate vibration-producing power equipment.
• Have dexterity to bend, stoop, and lift.

$37,363 per year with excellent benefits package.
