Join Advanced Medical Transport (AMT) as a full-time Mechanic to support Medics First in Springfield, Illinois. You will primarily maintain AMT fleet ambulances and service vehicles, and may support additional outer markets in Champaign and Peoria.

• Perform routine maintenance on AMT fleet ambulances and service vehicles.
• Conduct medium to heavy repairs.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform routine electrical work on 12V electronics and automotive equipment.
• Overhaul and repair engines and transmissions on gas and diesel automobiles and heavy equipment.

• Minimum of 5 years of automotive experience.
• Formal automotive education.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently.
• Effective communication skills.
