Are you a proactive self‑starter with strong common sense and hands‑on maintenance skills? CBRE is looking for a Maintenance Associate to support an 88,000 sq. ft. office, lab, and manufacturing facility in Chicopee, MA. In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping the site running smoothly by performing essential custodial, building, and basic maintenance tasks.
As part of CBRE’s Engineering & Technical Services team, you’ll help deliver high‑quality support, preventive maintenance, and equipment assurance to create a safe, productive environment for all employees. What You’ll Do:- Develop skills to perform basic preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Follow a set procedure in the performance of repetitive tasks or job activities.
- Complete paperwork for property damage, equipment malfunctions, and unusual activities.
- Assist with monitoring the supply, equipment usage, and record inventory needs.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
- Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
- Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
- High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job‑related experience.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $25.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the position is $28.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
